Snap!’s unique fusion of trance, electro, and deep house elements is flawless, and exactly what we were looking for to get into the weekend. It kicks off with a simple beat that continually builds upon itself until it’s unleashed in an all out barrage of sounds. These guys have been consistently hitting the mark with each new production, and are effortlessly setting the tone for a huge year. Hey, when you’re named a breakout artist by legends like Above & Beyond you’re bound to rise fast, and that’s just what they’re doing. Pick up the free download over on their Facebook page, here.

The Knocks – The Feeling (Dave Edwards Remix)

The Feeling

Dave Edwards, producer of one of our absolute favorite tracks of 2012 with his remix of Louis La Roche’s Untrue, has come through yet again with another incredible effort. This time he’s reworked another top tune of ours, the killer single The Feeling, from his fellow New Yorkers The Knocks. The immense amount of work put into this is apparent upon first listen, as it shifts between indie-dance, pop, and electro house with seamless ease. He’s implemented a grinding bassline giving the track massive appeal for the dancefloor, yet combined this with melodic elements that harken back to the originals pop leanings. Just the type of quality we’ve come to expect from him. Pick up the download through his Facebook page below!

[Exclusive Premiere] Dada Life vs. Kavinsky – Nightcall To Your Boyfriend (Case & Point Mashup)

Case & Point

Caveman Sound cronies Case & Point have been releasing nothing but fire lately. We most recently saw this in the form of their absolutely amazing first mix Room Service Vol. 1, which features three brand new mashups the guys have been using in their sets, and we couldn’t wait to get our hands on after having the mix on repeat the past two weeks. One of those gems is this huge cut of Dada Life’s Boyfriend remix, and Kavinsky’s eternally cool Nightcall. After many requests that they release it, we’re lucky enough to get to debut it to you today.

Jonsi – Around Us (The Chainsmokers Remix)

Around Us

New York duo The Chainsmokers (half of which is D’Anconia, who’s already a Caveman Sound favorite) have been making some serious noise lately. Their latest conquest is a remix of a track by the uniquely voiced Jónsi, lead singer of Sigur Ros, with which they’ve capitalized on the magical vocals, added some huge synths, and transformed the track into an epic, high energy, progressive house anthem. If this embodiment of pure bliss doesn’t make you yearn for the summertime, we’re not sure what will. We expect nothing but greatness coming from these guys going forward, so you’ll definitely be hearing more on them soon. Now go grab the download below and start dreaming of sunshine and festival season.

DEVolution – My Friends

My Friends

There are plenty of reasons to dislike Mondays, but a big reason we always look forward to them is Annie Mac’s ‘Free Music Mondays’. Today, in particular, is the return of the series for 2013 and Annie couldn’t have chosen a better track to kick it off in style. My Friends is a brilliant new tune from DEVolution, the Southampton duo of Pete Devereux (formerly half of Artful Dodger) & Tom Devos. The subtle vocals and dreamy vibe set along with an absolutely delectable groove, make one simply amazing tune. This is the first cut of their upcoming Arrival EP dropping in February, so be sure to keep an ear out for more like this soon!

Ra Ra Riot – When I Dream (Xristo Remix)

When I Dream

Xristo is one of those producers that turns out fire so consistently it’s almost hard to keep up with. So we thought we’d pull together a small round-up of the quality releases we’re talking about, and set you up with some big tunes for the weekend. His most recent work on Ra Ra Riot’s When I Dream is particularly impressive in that he shakes up his usual sound with a kind of fusion between deep house and progressive. This was a genius move on his part as it aligns perfectly with Ra Ra Riot’s elegantly constructed sound, keeping the mellow vibe intact, yet making it completely danceable at the same time. Scoop up the download on his Facebook page, here!

Electric Joy Ride & Dynamics – From The Start

Electric Joy Ride

UK-based producer Electric Joy Ride has once again delivered on the promise of his aptly chosen name. His latest original, From The Start, is a funky electro collaboration with a new Russian producer Dynamics –  which comes fully loaded with plenty of uplifting melodies and futuristic chops to quickly have you buzzing in your seat. It is both noisy and fluid at the same time, which he himself ultimately describes as a “cuddle for your ears”. Definitely make sure to grab yourself the free download over on Electric Joy Ride’s facebook page and stay tuned for more fresh tunes coming up!

Shapes of Light – Vixen (Original Mix)

Shapes of Light are a rising Boston-based producer duo who are quickly starting to make a name for themselves with some seriously electric productions. Their most recent effort comes in the form of a quality electro house original complete with melodic build-ups and powerful bass-heavy drops. The track was deservingly chosen as the winning submission into Insomniac’s Discovery Project, which earned Shapes of Light an exciting opportunity to play at EDC Orlando. Delta Heavy – Empire

The UK’s Delta Heavy just dropped a brand new track today via RAM records, and there is really only one word to describe it – epic. From the moment the looming vocal entrance hits your ears, layered over an exotic build-up subtly fading in, you know you’re in for a journey. And that’s exactly what you get. Empire lives up to it’s commanding title through a wild ride of massive bass and colossal breakdowns, making for a genre-blending spectacle that’s impossible to ignore. Dada Life – So Young So High (Andybody Remix)

So Young So High

Here comes a special electro house treat courtesy of a mysterious new artist Andybody. This remix of So Young So High was recently revealed by Dada Life via their own soundcloud page and has quickly generated a lot of hype due to its exceptional hard-hitting nature. The Swedish duo are yet to release additional information about Andybody’s true identity and have only briefly explained that “the Boss won’t let us release that information but we can say that he/she/they are a new ambassador of Dada Land… and you’ll be hearing more in 2013″ – which is certainly very intriguing. Stay tuned for more!

Felix Cartal – Lullaby (feat. Natalie Angiuli)

We kind of slept on posting this due to the hectic holiday nature of the past couple weeks, but we’ve really been digging this track since Felix Cartal let it loose last month. Lullaby is the B-side in a set of tunes he’s made with vocalist Natalie Angiuli. It’s a divergence from his usual aggressive, electro driven style, showing us a more delicately constructed side to his production. He wraps a beautiful melody around outstanding vocals making for a powerful and intoxicating track all around. Pick up the free download below!

If you want something a bit heavier, have a listen to No Sleep, his other track with Natalie Angiuli, it’s a killer.

Totally Worth It

Hot Mouth has been tearing it up lately with a handful of solid remixes, and a huge release in Totally Worth It. The track is an animal in it’s original state, and this remix only takes that up a notch. You can always count on PeaceTreaty to go big, which is a trend that doesn’t change here. They’ve taken a firm hold and turned this tune into an in your face, big room electro mammoth, utilizing Chris James’ crisp vocals to provide the perfect accent. Boom!

ZHU – Radar ft. Cassie Cardelle

We just picked up ZHU’s four track EP which he dropped last month, and were really pleasantly surprised. If you’re unfamiliar ZHU is a new producer with origins in San Francisco, but now based in Los Angeles, who is quickly capturing the ears of many. He’s already shared the stage with some big names, and gets influence from Deadmau5, Wolfgang Gartner, and Kaskade, which is evident in his electro-progressive sound. Radar, a standout track from the EP, is somewhere you can definitely hear these similarities. It’s infectious beyond belief so have a listen and download below.

Check out this more agressive electro cut from the EP as well.

Calvin Harris – Thinking About You (Myndset Remix)

Thinking About You

Talented LA-based producer Myndset has certainly been on a hot streak as of late. Only 3 weeks after releasing his excellent debut original 25th Hour, he’s back with an infectious remix of Thinking About You off Calvin Harris’ latest album 18 Months. Similar to his other impressive remix work, Myndset was able to properly retain all the right vibes of the original effort while seamlessly incorporating club-worthy big room sound and really making it his own. It is an extremely smooth and catchy track that will immediately have you bouncing in your seat – so make sure to show your support and grab the free download over on his facebook page. Enjoy!

Adele – Skyfall (Charlie Darker Remix)

Fresh off the release of a killer EP on Wolfgang Gartner’s Kindergarten Records and a Botnek remix out on Dim Mak, it seems Toronto’s Charlie Darker is on a hot streak. Further proof of this is the new remix of Adele’s Bond theme Skyfall he just put out as thanks for hitting 5k fans on Facebook. Trust us when we say this one’s well worth a listen. He weaves together the traditional bond composition with driving electro, paying respect to the world of Bond while simultaneously making it his own. And though he incorporates a banging culmination, the backbone of the original is kept intact. Go grab the track from his Facebook here, and have a great weekend everybody!
