CS PREMIERE | Mahalo — Wave Attack

Mahalo-Wave-Attack Just yesterday our friends at Los Angeles Music Project, commonly known as LAMP, announced a brand new member of their roster, Mahalo. Today we're bringing you the first official release on the label from the Hawai'i-born, LA–based producer, entitled Wave Attack, and what a debut it is.

Past the successful release with his Enjoy The Ride EP, Mahalo is quickly making a name for himself in the L.A. scene and beyond, with this latest output looking to continue the momentum. Characteristic to his dynamic style, he's delivered a multilayered tech house heater with this one. We're brought in through a series of poignant kicks and tantalizing notes, which become fluidly enveloped by resonant synths and surging basslines as the mesmerizing groove carries us through. Another dimension is added half way through, as Mahalo pulls us up for fresh air with a pristine piano breakdown and choice vocal line to really push the swell forward. It's a remarkable effort from the rising producer, and a clear indicator of the type of technical talent he possesses. Have a listen below, snag a free download here and be sure to keep your ears perked for more from Mahalo in the future.
