Panic City — Real Lies

Panic City | Real Lies Immediately upon hitting play after Panic City first sent over his new track Real Lies last week, we knew it was going to be big. But past a bit of back and forth, and some last minute tweaks, the SF-based producer provided us with the final cut, now on a whole new level. Though unquestionably versatile in his approach, Panic has typically been a purveyor of big room leaning EDM. Yet, on this one he's taken a completely different route into unexplored territory, pushing his creativity and hitting us instead with a deep, future house original sampling vocals from Calvin Harris' 2009 hit Flashback. Rapidly enticing with a pitched down version of Harris' familiar line, which takes on a different meaning here, the track wastes no time diving into the depths, as it draws us in perfectly to an imposing, expansive bassline and carries us through on buoyant, resounding chords. Looking for something to take it up a notch this weekend? This will set things off in an instant. Grab yourself a copy for free via Panic City's Facebook page.
