Icarus! – Shake Hands With Summer
As we often like to do on Mondays, we’re going to start the week off with some fresh and tasty nu-disco vibes. This week, a young producer from Colombia brings us an ingeniously sampled French house style track that fills the need just right. We don’t know a whole lot about Nicolas Saavedra aka Icarus!, but what we do know is we are seriously digging his sound and can’t wait to hear more. Shake Hands With Summer is his latest release and it’s vibe is essentially summed up within its title. Coupled with a vocal sample that lends it an awesome retro vibe, the bouncy beat is infectious beyond belief. Whether summer has just left or is soon arriving, this one’s sure to warm you up.
