Fiona Apple – Every Single Night (Mike Irish Remix)
In a combination that we thought we’d never hear, the forces of Fiona Apple and dubstep have been put together, and the result is shockingly great. New York’s Mike Irish has done a phenomenal job of taking her brand new track Every Single Night and transforming it completely, utilizing her amazing voice and mad wobbles to pack it with power. The original is a delicate chant dominated mostly by vocals, but with this remix he has created a battle between huge dubstep hooks and the chanting cadence of Fiona Apple’s lyrics. The result is a haunting and heavy track that fits together beautifully.
